A Dutch breed known for its cold hardy, calm temperament and their production of dark reddish-brown eggs. They are a curious and intelligent breed suited well for backyards. Welsummers have a single comb and have very different plumage from male to female making them a unique addition to your flock.
Shipping Minimums: April 1 – October 1: Minimum order of 3 birds to ship. October 2 – March 31: Minimum order of 10 birds to ship. If you order fewer than 10 birds in the colder months, we WILL delay your order.
Welsummer produces 225 Dark Brown eggs per year.

Chickens require a minimum quantity of 3 to ship, you may mix breeds of the same species.
