Gold Deathlayer

The Gold Deathlayer is a striking, medium-sized heritage chicken with rich golden plumage edged in black, a neat rose comb, slate legs, and dark expressive eyes. Hens typically weigh around 4–4.5 lbs, while roosters reach 5–5.5 lbs. They are excellent foragers with an active, energetic nature, making them well suited for free-ranging flocks. They are admired for producing medium-sized white eggs, averaging about 4 per week, with a reputation for continuing to lay steadily later in life, earning them the name “Deathlayer.”
