Olive Egger

When it comes to appearance – Olive Eggers are a wildcard. They are predominantly black, blue or brown chicks however they grow out in almost every color and/or combination of muffs and beards. Our Olive eggers are f1, meaning first generation, and are bred from Black Copper Marans, Welsummers and Ameraucanas. These chicks will grow into hens that lay predominantly green eggs ranging in color from sage to olive. There is potential to lay other colors also. They’re of moderate size and egg production – these are truly ornamental bird.

Shipping Minimums: April 1 – October 1: Minimum order of 3 birds to ship. October 2 – March 31: Minimum order of 10 birds to ship. If you order fewer than 10 birds in the colder months, we WILL delay your order.
